I joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was trained as a mechanic. As you can figure, once I graduated Mechanic School, they sent me to Viet Nam, with 7th Engineers Batt., 1st Marine Division, driving a 50 ton tractor and trailer, hauling tanks, d-9 cat"s, and explosives, ( Gee !!! Who did I impress ????? ).
Once I left the Marines, I went to, Northrop Institute of Technology to study jet and prop aircraft repair.. At that time I thought, the best place for me was back in Santa Barbara, so home I went.
I worked for Volkswagon of America for 5 years and then went to TransWorld Porsche-Audi-Ferrari. From there, I went to Cochran Coach Craft where I worked on everything from a 1935 Buick to Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pantera, Aston Martin, Masarati until 1985. Opened my business ,working on Porche,Ferarri, Lamburghini, Masarati, Asto Martin, DeTomato Pantera.
At that point I was ready to retire (ha, ha) and said "hasta la vista baby" to a regular job. I decided to "live the life of Riley" as an Entrepreneur and opened Martynn"s Lamborghini & Ferrari Service
Since then I have worked exclusively on Exotic and Specialty cars (Ok one or two VW's as well).
